 "Learn How to Write a
Winning Training Proposal"

Imagine ... you've got three days
to produce a training proposal ...
or your job's on the line

Message from Robin Henry
Al Ain, United Arab Emirates

Dear Reader

When one of my friend's bosses called her into his office one Tuesday afternoon and demanded a proposal for a training program by Friday, she didn't know where to turn, so she called me.

We spent a few hours together Tuesday evening and by midday Friday, she had produced the proposal her boss wanted. A few weeks later, that proposal won a lucrative government contract. She came straight over to my place with a bottle of red wine and gave me a hug.

As a result of that experience (we all want more hugs don't we?)I decided to document what I had told her so that others in a similar situation could benefit. The outcome is my popular title "How to Write Winning Training Proposals" which was voted the "Most often downloaded title of September, 2002" by Training Zone, a United Kingdom-based portal for training and development professionals.

When the going get's tough, who are you gonna call ?

You don't need to call anyone ... I can help you just like I helped Katie, but much quicker and you won't have to give me a hug (damn!).

How Come I Know So Much?

Good question. The answer is that I've spent almost 30 years of my life designing, developing, delivering and evaluating training programs. I've prepared proposals to attract government funding into colleges of Technical and Further Education (now Vocational Education and Training) and I've sat on the other side and hired people to provide training based on my proposals.

Additionally, I've written proposals for clients and reviewed proposals written in-house when clients have sought a third-party opinion before spending huge sums of money.

Along the way I've studied training and development, management, teaching, administration, and more at tertiary institutes across Australia.

When I say I know a thing or two about training and development and especially proposals, you can believe me.

If you write training proposals and want them to be successful, there are some things you need to know and do. My manual helps you discover those things and is your path to instant SUCCESS! Your boss will be impressed and once you know how to write one proposal, you'll know how to write every proposal.

Why not invest in you personal development today?

Once you have read this manual you'll be well ahead of your competition. You'll find your proposals:

  1. are well researched
  2. are more comprehensive and professional
  3. consist of the right content in the correct order
  4. demonstrate a sound knowledge not only of the topic, but of proposal writing
  5. include strategies to add value that don't cost you more
  6. more frequently win you the contracts or approval you are after

You could be writing a winning proposal just a few hours after receiving your copy.

When a friend asked me to help, I wrote this e-publication to fill a huge gap in Australian training and development. That was in 1998. Today, the content is still highly relevant and the ebook is as popular as ever.
