Good question. The
answer is that I've spent almost 30 years of my life
designing, developing, delivering and evaluating training programs.
I've prepared proposals to attract government funding into colleges
of Technical and Further Education (now Vocational Education and
Training) and I've sat on the other side and hired people to
provide training based on my proposals.
Additionally, I've
written proposals for clients and reviewed proposals written
in-house when clients have sought a third-party opinion before
spending huge sums of money.
Along the way I've
studied training and development, management, teaching,
administration, and more at tertiary institutes across
Australia.
When I say I know a
thing or two about training and development and especially
proposals, you can believe me.

When a friend asked me
to help, I wrote this e-publication to fill a huge gap in
Australian training and development. That was in 1998. Today, the
content is still highly relevant and the ebook is as popular as
ever. |
