How
to Download PDF Files
There
are two ways to download:
Direct
download to hard disk or other storage device without viewing the file
on screen
|
Step
|
Action
|
|
1
|
Place
your cursor over the download link and right click. A
dialogue box similar to that at right will popup |
|
2
|
Select
and click on "Save Target As .... ". Nominate
a storage location where you want the file saved and click
OK to save it there.
TIP:
If you save your document to the desktop, you'll know where
to find it. I save documents on my desktop until I have finished
reading them and then move them into another folder. That
way I know what I have yet to read.

Direct
download to view on screen and then save to hard disk or storage device
|
Step
|
Action
|
|
1
|
Place
your cursor over the download link like you do with any link and
left click once. The Adobe Reader should open within your
browser and begin loading the PDF file.
NOTE:
Some larger PDF files (as with any file), take a while to load.
If your Adobe Reader screen opens and it's just showing a white
page for a while, it may still be downloading ... go get a cup of
coffee and give it time to load.

|
2
|
Place
your cursor over the floppy disk icon that shows in Adobe Reader
(top left side) and click once. Select the storage device
to which you wish to save the file and click OK.
Your
file should save in a minute or so.
